My passion is to create... I love to create whether it is making a craft project or redesigning a room. If I am not using my creative side in one form or another I feel like something is missing from my life.
After receiving my degree in Health Education I began working in the field but always felt like something was missing. After a few years I decided to go back to college to study interior design. That is when I realized that I needed to add back in a creative element to my life. I stumbled upon Etsy in 2009 and decided opening a shop would be a good way to use my creative side. My shop was small and I never thought it could be a business in itself but it was a great outlet and a way to make some extra money.
After losing my job in December 2010 I decided it was time to try to give my creative side a real chance. I opened a new Etsy shop and the next thing I knew I was self employed. It was so amazing to realize that I could make a living using only some paper and my own two hands.
Tero Designs- My company name was inspired by my children Teagan and Rowen. I took the first two letters of their names and created Tero.
